There are only a few beach accesses that we have yet to visit on Pender Island. The other evening we decided to check a couple more off our list. Just to be clear, I mean that literally…..we actually do have a list….a list we carry in the car (plus we have a back up on our coffee table!) just to make sure eventually we will have “done” the island.
Just before the light had faded we popped down to check out Panda Bay. It is a nice quiet spot with a view of passing ferries from a completely different angle. It is a more closed in version of the ocean, no vast views of open water, however the cliffs leading to the edge of the water are quite interesting. This spot is worth another visit to enjoy it in proper daylight. Pender Island definitely has its share of tucked away quiet beaches.
