Today is another “painting and a view” post, this time at Peter Cove South.
It was another overcast day, but luckily without rain. Late in the day we headed down to Peter Cove South. The family threw rocks into the water and played catch while I did a quick painting at the other end of the beach. Call me fussy, but I have problems painting when objects are whizzing past my head, so we now have our own spots on the beach when I paint.
The painting is a different color pallet for me, but relays the scene well. It is always interesting painting on location, sometimes you sit on the ground to paint, sometimes on rocks, but today driftwood was both my seat and my easel. Luckily this beach has no shortage of driftwood.
Great Post.
Thank you!
