This evening provided the opportunity for a quick landscape painting session at Medicine Beach on Pender Island.
En plein air paintings make for quick brush strokes and very little fussing. The light dips quickly, plus their are still a few wasps out adding to the challenge.
It is a classic Gulf Islands view that rarely disappoints .

Thanks. The painting is probably a bit simpler than it should be as I only ever seem to have about 20 minutes before one of our kids has a melt down, falls in the water, gets stung by a wasp, etc..
