Lupine by the Canal Bridge – Pender Island, BC, Canada

I was looking through a few summer pictures for painting inspiration and came across these images from the walk near the canal bridge. Well it isn’t really a “walk”, and definitely not a “hike”, but more of a “leg stretch”……with very pretty scenery I might add. Near the bridge we came across some lupine growing wild, which was a great treat. I’ve always liked lupine as it has interesting flowers and leaves, so of course I took several pictures of these wonderful purple flowers.
