  1. Beautiful spot Deb and great West Coast winter photos except for today where we got our 4 inches of snow – roads a nightmare and schools closed!

Do they even have sanders and plows in your area or do you wait for everything to melt? I’ll make you feel better about the weather, yesterday when I picked my daughter up from Kindergarten it was -38C with the wind-chill. Even the ice sculptures in town had frosted over; I didn’t think that was possible. If the weather continues to be bad out there we will have to have a think about our travel plans.

Do you have pictures of your snow fall?

      • Yes, we have all the latest equipment and the roads get well tended to. The main problem is people around here are reluctant to put on Winter tires. The weather people are pretty sure it will be a green Christmas for us as rain is on the way but I imagine the Interior roads might be iffy. Do you look at the Drive BC site? You can keep your -38 in Alberta!

      • Deb says:

Chances are you have more plows than our city. Rumour is we have 4.

We follow Drive BC religiously, and the webcams. There have been a few times we have delayed going out due to what the webcams are showing. Drive BC is better than anything we have in Alberta.
