Heavy Ceiling at Hope Bay – Pender Island, BC, Canada

Hope Bay, Pender Island, BC, CanadaThis was a day of heavy cloud, dark skies, wind and rain. A wintry day on the coast. The lighting wasn’t picture perfect for photography, but it still had its own charm.

Hope Bay, Pender Island, BC, CanadaA few brave gulls held their post and looked out to sea. Not a single boat was moored at the dock; a very unusual sight.

Hope Bay, Pender Island, BC, CanadaThis stormy day actual provided the inspiration for a painting I have just completed. If you would like to have a look it can be viewed at one of my other blogs, www.debrahunter.wordpress.com . The post is “Heavy Ceiling at Hope Bay, November 2013 – Pender Island Art”.
