Roesland – Pender Island, BC, Canada

(Please click on the above pictures to view.)

Roesland on North Pender Island is a great afternoon outing. At low tide you can walk from the main area of Roesland, across the sand, and onto Roe Islet. Roe Islet provides a lovely little walk; it is a forested path edged with a huge variety of ground hugging plants, the path twists amongst arbutus while giving amazing views of the sea. It is definitely a “must see” for anyone visiting Pender.
