Sometimes the tide leads you to an amazing view. This is precisely what happened on the evening these images were taken. The family fancied a walk on the beach but the tide was high. Quite high in fact, as every beach we tried water was lapping at the bottom of the beach access stairs. Finally we decided to try Gowlland Point knowing that it is almost always walkable. We reached the beach as the sun dipped low in the sky and were treated to beautiful scenery with a sky fit for a painting.

Wonderful colour and light!
Thanks! Amazing skies happening recently.
Possibly the result of forest fires in BC.
We actually had to call one in that we came across in the Rogers Pass in the middle of the night last week.
