Late Afternoon at Gowlland Point – Pender Island, BC

Gowlland Point 2013Gowlland Point is located on the tip of South Pender Island. It is a popular beach in good weather as it is easy to access, has great parking and has stunning views. These images were taken late in the afternoon once everyone had headed home for supper.

Gowlland Point 2013The fluffy clouds made for interesting seascapes, with just a hint of a mountain silhouette being visible.

Gowlland Point 2013We watched a boat going by in the distance. However my favorite shot of the day is the one below, blue skies, fluffy clouds and both a boat and a float plane in the same shot. Pretty fun.
