Gowlland Point is located on the tip of South Pender Island. It is a popular beach in good weather as it is easy to access, has great parking and has stunning views. These images were taken late in the afternoon once everyone had headed home for supper.
The fluffy clouds made for interesting seascapes, with just a hint of a mountain silhouette being visible.
We watched a boat going by in the distance. However my favorite shot of the day is the one below, blue skies, fluffy clouds and both a boat and a float plane in the same shot. Pretty fun.
Travel by sea and by air.
