Brooks Point is an amazing place on South Pender Island. Breathtaking views. Beautiful beaches. A fabulous place to wander and think.

While walking the trail to Brooks Point I was struck by the beauty of the golden leaves against the greens of the forest.

The moss and fern are so lush and filled with contrasting textures that I can't resist shooting them everytime I walk the trail.

I am sharing some recent images. Every time I shoot at this location the images are vastly different; it is so interesting. This late afternoon provided us with drama filled skies and lapping waves, plus a pleasant, yet wet, forested walk.
